Challenge Elite 700×25C Road Tubular Tyre Black

Challenge Elite 700×25C is a handmade road tubular designed for regular training, everyday riding and high mileage. It is a practical choice for riders looking for a durable tubular with a good balance of rolling performance, grip and longevity. Part of Challenge’s Handmade Tubular range, the Elite features a 220 TPI Super Polyester casing designed to provide a supple and comfortable ride. A butyl inner tube helps retain air pressure well, making the Elite particularly convenient for regular training and everyday use. The Challenge Elite is suitable for modern road bikes equipped with tubular wheelsets and is also compatible with classic KhVZ tubular rims, including those used on Start-Shosse bicycles. This makes it a practical modern replacement for ageing or hard-to-find original tubular tyres on vintage Soviet road bikes without having to convert the original wheels. The tyre measures 700×25C (28×25 mm) and is available in two colour options: Black for a classic all-black appearance and Tan with traditional tan sidewalls. Please note that the Challenge Elite is a true tubular tyre: the inner tube is enclosed within the sewn tyre casing, and the complete tyre is mounted onto a dedicated tubular rim. It is not compatible with standard clincher rims designed for separate tyres and inner tubes. A dependable choice for road training, regular mileage, modern tubular wheelsets and classic road bike restoration.
